- He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath
said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (But this spake
he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the
Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.) John
7:38-39
Throughout the Bible, God has been speaking to people in various ways, including natural occurrences and sometimes animals. In this article, I will share with you some lessons learnt from a water dispenser. Doesn’t our God have a sense of humour? A water dispenser needs no description I believe . Walk into any office, and you will find one. I love
where they are normally positioned---a little corner, sitting there all alone
plugged into a source of power and quenching the thirst of people. Why a water
dispenser? If you still haven't caught the drift, let me tell you in plain
language: As a Christian;YOU ARE A WATER DISPENSER.
1. YOU QUENCH THIRST (Out of your
belly shall flow rivers of living water). Fact is that, as a Christian, your
life should bring meaning into other lives---you bring life and satisfaction
into other lives
2. YOU BRIGHTEN THE CORNER WHERE
YOU ARE: I spoke about the positioning of the water dispenser---usually in a
little corner in an office. Hardly will you find a water dispenser in the
middle of an office ---- that will be crazy interior deco. It seems, as
important as the water dispenser is, it doesn't call attention to itself at
all: it sits there and people walk to it when they're thirsty. Wherever you're,
live your life in a way that will attract others to Christ(the water of life)
through you.
3. YOU‘RE CONNECTED TO THE SOURCE
OF POWER( this spake he of the Spirit which they that believe on him should
receive...). Note that without a source of power, the dispenser will not
function effectively. It is the source of power that makes it more useful---
producing hot or chilled water( hot or cold;not lukewarm). What am I implying?
Without a source of power---without The Holy Spirit you won‘t be highly
efficient to quench peoples thirst.
From today, anytime you walk to
the dispenser, remind yourself that “This is me“.
